New World Series Champions from Georgia - Crawford Co. Debs

Congratulations to Coach Todd Youngblood, his players, coaches, families and the entire Crawford County Rec. Dept. on winning the 2020 Dixie Debs World Series Championship!! The World Series was a "mega World Series" - Dixie hosting all the World Series at Oxford, Alabama. Despite the Covid pandemic, DSI was able to conduct all the World Series and a great time was had by all who were able to attend. I had the privilege of being the Director for the Angels Traditional World Series and was able to see all of the Georgia teams play. Our teams did very well representing the state of Georgia.
All of our teams won at least one game and the Ponytails from Taylor County played in the Championship game and were runner up to the team from Florida. Congratulations to Chris James and all the folks at Taylor County.
The Belles also from Crawford County won the coveted Sportsmanship Award!! The 2020 World Series was a great year for Dixie Softball in Georgia!
